Wallonie Picarde Room

Description of principal options:

Building of a four-story building covering more than 5.600m². Apart from the offices, the complex will include a modular infrastructure, which can host various meetings and events, an auditorium of 100 seats, a multi-media room and kitchens.

Stability part:

This stone bloc rests on 2 rows of pillars and ends in an impressing overhang. The entrance is located at the floating end and groups all the events functions.

The structure of the building consists of concrete. The infrastructures, the central cores and the central bloc resting on pillars with an 8-meter overhang are made of on-site cast concrete. The superstructure of the building on the other hand, will be built with prefab prestressed concrete. Certain hollow spaces will be filled with silico-chalk elements.

The whole lot will rest on 160 posts. On site, 1.000 m³ of concrete will be cast and 2.000 m³ of prefab concrete elements, of which 1.500m³ flooring, will be installed. The levels are very open and free, because the structural grid measures 8 by 8 meter on 3 rows of pillars.
