The program: to increase the capacity (140 beds) of the nursing and medical home and to comply with the latest standards by the Walloon Region in terms of fire prevention.
The works have been planned in two stages, the first one being the building of a new extension, the second, renovation of existing buildings. The reconditioning of the elderly nursing home of Enghien consisted in refurbishing the rooms according to present standards. The extra surface was obtained by added a story on top of the existing building.
