Fort of Ecaussines

As a classified monument, the fort of Ecaussines received restoration works to (among others) its roof framework and roof cover. The work aimed at restoring the original morphologic structures and to repair the damage cause by time, exposure and previous interventions…  With Architect Michel Micciche and the SPW (Architect Florence Noirhomme), in collaboration with the polytechnic faculty of UMons and the craftsman Pascal Lemlyn, ADEM defined the structural options (standard carpentry intervention, steel reinforcement, use of resins and concrete resin, gluing, …) and ensured the construction supervision.
A rich experience due to the age of the wooden framework and the quality of the multidisciplinary team on site…
